Metal 3D printing
EOS M400 – an industrial large-scale metal 3D printing machine with a working area of 400x400x400 mm. Available materials include:
- Aluminium alloys (AlSi10Mg, AlF357)
- Tool steel (MS1, CX)
- Stainless steel (316L, Super Duplex)
3D printing
Polymer 3D printing
Rapid prototyping performed using FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printing technology. It involves extruding heated plastic in layers until an element is created based on a 3D model.
A variety of materials are available in many color options:
- PLA – ideal for prototyping to verify geometric design
- ABS – provides greater hardness and temperature resistance
- PETG (certified for food contact) – chemically resistant, water-tight
- ASA – resistant to weather conditions (sun, water)
- TPU – rubber, chemically resistant
- Composite materials - including graphene, carbon fiber, glass fiber, and others
Heat treatment
Heat treatment
Nabertherm LH 216/12 furnace with a chamber of 400x400x400 mm. All thermal treatments up to 1200°C are possible, i.e. hardening, stress relieving, aging, also in the option of a nitriding chamber.
Reverse engineering
3D scanning
For 3D scanning, we use the Creaform HandySCAN Black Elite handheld scanner for precise spatial reproduction (reverse engineering). Scanning can be done with an accuracy of up to 0.05 mm. This is a non-destructive method, thanks to which it is possible to recreate the geometry of objects measuring from a few millimeters to a few meters. Small elements that do not have design documentation, shapes of complex shape, vehicles, and even entire rooms can be scanned. There are no limits to the material, surface quality or mobility - thanks to the small dimensions of the device, we are able to perform in all conditions.
Surface testing
Surface testing
Hardness test
The eHandy Esatest hardness tester from Ernst is a portable, wireless handheld device for measuring the hardness of metals even in hard-to-reach places like holes or pockets. It works on the principle of measuring electrical resistance, which is a function of the depth of the indenter (ERNST patent). This innovative technology does not destroy the surface, so the tested element remains without noticeable losses. The test can be carried out on any scale (i.e. HB, HV, HR and others) and takes only a few minutes.
Surface testing
Portable roughness measuring device
Waveline W10 from Jenoptik (Hommel-Etamic) is a new generation of devices for fast and accurate control of roughness directly on the production line as well as in quality control laboratories. The device consists of a mobile measuring head and a parameter evaluation unit with a printer and a docking station. The test can be performed on almost any surface including holes.
Surface testing
Metallurgical microscope
A specialized microscope that can perform visual analysis of surfaces. Thanks to the advanced camera and software, it is possible to record video, measure artifacts, take multi-layer 3D images and complex images of a large area.
Material composition testing
Optical emission spectrometer
GNR MiniLab 150 – enables elemental analysis of low-alloy steels, stainless steels, chromium, chromium-nickel, cast irons, free-cutting and tool steels, various aluminum alloys (including Al-Si, Al-Cu, Al-Si-Cu, low-alloy Al) and copper alloys (brass, bronze, low-alloy copper, aluminum bronze).
Coatings
Coatings
Nickel plating
Coating metal products with a layer of nickel. Chemical nickel plating of elements up to approx. 0.5 m³ with a layer 25 µm thick.
Coatings
Corrosion tests
Metallic coating durability test stand SALT-CAB 250. It is used to evaluate sample coatings in a test with variable temperature and humidity according to ISO 9227, ISO6270, ASTM B11. The salt mist test is most often used to check the effectiveness of the production process. The corrosion chamber allows for comparative tests of corrosion resistance of materials such as paints and coatings. We use it, among others, to evaluate the nickel coatings we produce.
Coatings
Coating thickness tests
The offer includes three devices for measuring coating thickness:
- FISHER X-RAY XAN 222 Fluorescence Spectrometer – fast and non-destructive analysis of metallic coatings. It is used to measure not only the thickness but also the chemical composition of the coating.
- FISHER DUALSCOPE FMP 40 coating thickness gauge – precise measurement of the thickness of both metalized and electroplated coatings, on magnetic and non-magnetic substrates.
- INSIZE ISU-250C ultrasonic thickness gauge – measurement of the thickness of various materials, e.g. steel, plastic, glass, nylon, resin, ceramics, rubber, ice.
